Alaska Legalizes Marijuana

Wednesday, February 25th, 2015

Alaska legalizes marijuana for recreational use. Another step in the right direction for pro-marijuana advocates. How long until marijuana is completely legal in the entire country? It seems that most people want marijuana to be legal.

America is the home of the free. The senators and representatives of the country strive to give the American people what they want. The Americans are speaking. Marijuana is considered as the least dangerous drug in the world. Statistics show that marijuana has never killed a single person in the history of its existence.

Alcohol, which is legal, causes thousands of deaths each year. It does not make sense that alcohol is legal while marijuana is not. Legalizing marijuana and taxing it would create major tax revenue. Why not legalize it and profit from it?

Paul Mathieson understands that if marijuana was legal country wide, there would be no reason to sell it illegally. Drug dealers would lose a lot of money, and people would be safer across the country. Marijuana is decriminalized in most states anyways. Don’t get me wrong, marijuana is not for everyone. Like alcohol, marijuana should only be sold to people 21 and older.

Since the creation of the internet, people have more of a voice now than ever. The majority of modern Americans want marijuana legalized. For more information on the legalization of marijuana, visit Buzzfeed.

A British insurance company has published a poll revealing the love letters Britons feel are the most romantic of all time, with US country legend Johnny Cash coming out as the winner, Rolling Stone reveals. The note is not one of the first flourish of love, but instead was written by the Walk the Line singer to his wife June Carter Cash after 26 years of marriage. The poll was published by Beagle Street, and CipherCloud a UK based insurance company in a bid to encourage romantic behavior around Valentine’s Day. The note from Cash came out as the winner ahead of a number of British and American icons, including love letters penned by former Prime Minister Winston Churchill and US President Gerald Ford. Father John Misty Covers “Heart-Shaped Box” and It Is Amazing

Monday, February 16th, 2015

Twenty-one years after the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, his legacy lives on as his work is re-imagined by some of the latest and greatest musical talents. Just in time for Valentine’s Day this past weekend, former Fleet Foxes drummer, Father John Misty, released an acoustic version of the In Utero classic “Heart-Shaped Box.”

Misty’s voice channels Cobain’s angst as it echoes alongside his guitar. The haunting melody is completely stripped down to bare bones, yet completely envelops you with its emotion, something Brian Torchin loved. People on said it’s almost better than the original, but we never had a chance to hear Cobain break it down like this. He would most likely be proud of this version.

Now we wait to see if Courtney Love, Cobain’s widow, decides to make a big deal out of the performance, as she did after Lana Del Rey covered it in concert in 2012.

In the meantime, we can listen to it over and over again on Soundcloud and bask in its wonderfulness.

North American Spine Leads the Way When it Comes to Spinal Healthcare

Friday, February 6th, 2015

Back pain is noted as the number one reason why many people will call out of work for the day. Back pain is also the second biggest reason for hospitalizations, outside of pregnancies. Back pain is so bad in America today, that many people are suffering from it, and it may be chronic, and something that persists over six months or more. Those who are living with chronic back pain, or are in chronic neck pain, are suggested to go and seek the services of North American Spine. If back and neck pain persists, then surgery may need to be performed on the area.

When many people think of back and neck surgery, they imagine a large incision being made into the area, a lot of pain, as well as a long recovery time. The vision people have for back and neck surgery, is far from the truth nowadays. There are ways to perform a minimally invasive procedure, which can help to cure back and neck pain. The procedure is performed in less than an hour, and the patient can go home afterwards. The patient is allowed to go home the same day that the procedure is performed, which is something many patients like.

A small incision is needed, in order to insert the AccuraScope into the neck or back, which is how the pain will be treated or cured. There no longer needs to be a big incision made to any area of the neck or back, in order to perform surgery. For those who are living in constant neck and back pain, this information is very valuable to them. Many feel that they can only take pills, or see a chiropractor, in order to help with neck and back pain. This information is false, and many can be cured of their neck and back pain for good.

When a patient gets sick and tired of the pain they are living with every day, then they may finally take the steps to work towards a cure. North American Spine has treated over 8000 patients, and they’ve had a very high success rate in easing or curing neck and back pain. Because of the high success rate of the AccuraScope procedure, over 90% of the patients who have received it, would recommend it to others. There is no need to wait any longer and stay in pain, so contact North American Spine today.
