Adam Milstein: Ingenious Businessman with a Sincere Passion for Helping Others

Monday, January 21st, 2019

Adam Milstein is a man who used his childhood experiences that he obtained while growing up in Haifa, Israel to become one of the most influential/philanthropic leaders of the Jewish community. As a child, Milstein’s birthplace in Haifa provided him the privilege of being in one of the largest and most beautiful settings in Israel—a benefit that instilled him with a deep sense of respect and appreciation for his culture. Moreover, in addition to having become culturally impacted by his environment, Milstein was also heavily influenced by the love he received through the rearing by his parents. His mother (a stay-at-home mom) cared for the family and nurtured Milstein with the utmost endearment, while his father (a real estate developer) financially supported the family and taught Milstein the value of hard work. Together, his parents embedded within his subconscious the importance of being compassionate for others—a quality that Milstein inherited that would stick with him for life.

Yet, in addition to being compassionate, bravery was another strong characteristic that Adam Milstein adopted in his youth. At 19, he joined the Israeli Defense Forces out of a personal desire to help protect the nation of Israel against opposing forces who sought to bring harm to the people. After serving in the Yom Kippur War in 1973, Milstein earned a degree in Business Management from the Israel Institute of Technology in 1978 and then relocated to the United States with his wife shortly thereafter. Nevertheless, after arriving to the U.S. in 1981 and residing in California, Milstein returned to school to obtain his second degree (MBA) in business from the University of Southern California. Utilizing his business degrees, Adam Milstein ultimately became a successful businessman in the real estate industry. As a resident of California, he became a managing partner for Hager Pacific Properties (located in Encino, California) where he currently fulfills the responsibility of overseeing all financial matters concerning the real estate company’s billion-dollar property ownership in the U.S.

Nonetheless, being that Adam Milstein was born to be more than just a businessman at heart, he innately took to becoming the philanthropist that his parents’ love had influenced him to be. He wished to enlighten and encourage those of the Jewish community to become leaders to make a positive difference within their lives and the lives of others as well. Therefore, to provide a system of direct aid to the Israeli-American population, Adam Milstein and his wife founded the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation in 2001. Today, the foundation currently provides a multitude of nonprofit services including that of educational training, leadership counseling, medical support, and defense against anti-Semitism.

Alistair Borthwick Was a Man of Many Talents

Tuesday, January 8th, 2019
Alastair Borthwick was a proud Scotsman and he wrote about his homeland. He wrote his first bestseller in 1939, Always a Little Further, and it recounts his time walking his beloved Scottish highlands. After spending time reporting on the Second World War, he wrote his second book, Sans Peur, in 1946. They were very different books, but that speaks to his ability to write about a range of topics. Alastair Borthwick obtained that talent during his long career in journalism along with his time during the Second World War. Both texts found a second audience when they were rerelease in the 1980s and 1990s Alistair Borthwick moved to Glasgow when he was 11, and he soon began his career in journalism. He wrote on a wide variety of topics for the Glasgow Weekly Herald which contributed to his ability to master many writing styles. He covered everything from front page stories to the crossword section. During one of his writing assignments he began his love of the outdoors. He wrote about his experiences rock climbing. His career in journalism continued and he moved to Flest Street in 1935. At the outbreak of the war, he served his country and he led his battalion of men through Holland into German occupied territory. Borthwick’s ability to write meant that he soon started documenting the last stages of the war. After the war Alastair Borthwick did not want to return to London, so he and his wife set up home back in Scotland. He continued his work in journalism and he won an OBE for his reporting on the festival of Britain. He continued to write about the Second World War and events in Scotland. Alastair Borthwick died in 2003, and his wife died later that same year. They are survived by their son Patrick. Read more information about Borthwick at

Charlamagne Tha God Offers President A Memory…

Monday, October 8th, 2018

Charlamagne Tha God is a hip-hop producer and radio personality. Charlamagne runs his own company, CThaGod World LLC and co-host of Brilliant Idiots a favorite podcast. Charlamagne Tha God has directed and acted in movies like Bodied (2017), on the run eating (2018) and Grow House (2017) to mention but a few. That’s why Charlamagne took to social media when the president tweeted from the White House about the “..dangerous times” that young men currently live in.

In his tweet the president suggests that an otherwise perfect man can be completely ruined by false allegations. Charlamagne Tha God certainly agrees, but his choice of young men to reference was of particular interest. He referenced the Central Park Five. The radio host welcomed the president to “…the black man’s world!” After that, he suggested that now the president knows how the Central Park five felt.

Let’s rewind for those that are unaware of the young men referenced. The Central Park five were five African American men that were wrongfully accused in 1989 of raping a white jogger that survived the attack. Donald Trump spends almost $90k that year publishing a full-color ad in the press suggesting that then-mayor (Koch) bring the death penalty back to New York. See Related Link for more information.

His exact words were along the lines of “…I want to hate these muggers and murderers. They should be forced to suffer.” Long story short? The real perpetrator came forward, the five were exonerated (after serving many years) and the NYPD was forced to share what is perhaps the most blatantly obvious railroading of justice ever caught on tape; the interrogation of the five boys.

Charlmagne’s reference was a wise one indeed. No matter what one’s opinion on Kavanaugh or the Central Park 5 is, one thing is an undeniable fact. Kavanaugh had little trouble defending his position for the highest court of the land while the five young men went unheard for far too long. Another fact? Kavanaugh was applying for a career change while the young men in NYC really were guilty until they could scramble to prove their innocence. Unfortunately it took them 13 years to do this!

Views And Opinions Of Charlamagne Tha God

Monday, September 10th, 2018

Charlamagne Tha God, a television personality, a co-host of The Breakfast Club made rounds of social media mentions because Eminem called him out in his album “Kamikaze,” Charlamagne thought he will be forever remembered as being part of Eminem’s famous songs. He is happy to be mentioned even if it talks good or bad about him. He definitely likes the “Kamikaze” album, but not the “Revival.” Charlamagne Tha God believes that we are all entitled to have the freedom to say whatever we want to say, but we also have to be mindful if we offended other people of the things we say or do. So, he does not mind Eminem’s slur, he was not offended. He only expressed his views and opinions about Eminem’s Album, though it does not mean that other people will agree.

Eminem may have impressive songs, but the message of the song is not for everybody. Charlamagne Tha God is being honest about what he thinks on Eminem’s recent album. As a media man for quite some time, he says things based on his observations and on what he hears. He may not be a member of the LGBT community, but he feels for the ones that got offended. Tyler, The Creator had his share of controversy because of Eminem’s backlash toward the LGBT community. See This Article for more information.

Eminem is known to be one of the best musician/lyricists. His music will live forever. We can not change the way he express his musicality. He will not be this famous if it was not for his controversial Slim Shady song, and up until now, we are still patronizing his music. Charlamagne Tha God says Eminem’s songs may always touch on politics and other controversies, but it is all part of the spice. We are living in a country where everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions. We just have to be open-minded.

Charlamagne Tha God And Eminem Diss

Monday, September 3rd, 2018

No one was prepared for a surprise album from Eminem, but a lot of fans appear to be very impressed with the content. Charlamagne Tha God is one person that has also taken time to speak about the album and clear his thoughts about the diss. He has stated that he did not necessarily believe that Eminem was sending out a diss.

In an interview with, Charlamagne stated that he thought the previous album was wack, but he believed that even Eminem himself thought this his last project was bad. He stated that this is why he believed Eminem decided to drop the new surprise “Kamikaze” album. He knew that he would have to make a better return after having such a weak album prior to that. This is what Charlamagne Tha God believes was the reason for this new album.

In this return with the new album Eminem decided to touch on a number of issues as he dissed other artists like Drake and Joe Budden. There is also a shot that Eminem takes at Machine Gun Kelly as well. This appears to be a reoccurring battle between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly. Charlamagne has been someone that has been very vocal about various topics, and he never hides when he does not like certain material. When he spoke about the Eminem album it was clear that he was not impressed with “The Revival” album, but he has stated that he is a fan of the new “Kamikaze” album that recently dropped. People are also praising the artwork for this album because it resembles the old Beastie Boys “Licensed to Ill” album.

Many people are wondering if Eminem, with an aging fan base, will make a decision to go out on top with an album such as this or if he will continue to rap. Charlamagne Tha God has stated that this is one of the stronger albums from Eminem in the last several years. It is a true indication that he may be getting back to the excellence in rap that he has been known for in the early parts of his career. Refer to This Article for more information.

Charlamagne Tha God- Taking His Life In A New Direction

Monday, August 27th, 2018

Charlamagne Tha God has had his fair share of suffering from anxiety. He talks about this and other things going on in his life in his newest book about his struggles. Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me,is his second book and it talks a lot about the vulnerable side he deals with as a radio host. It also goes more into detail about his decision to finally go to therapy for help.

Book Title Based On Song From Mobb Deep

When choosing his new book’s title, Charlamagne Tha God decided to name it after a song by the group Mobb Deep called “Shook Ones.” The song itself refers to not being soft or “shook” about anything. However, Charlamagne tha God is honest about the fact that he is “shook” and has realized that a lot of things he has done were out of fear. These fears he has had were based on fights that he had been involved in years ago. He goes on to explain they were irrational fears and had to do with a lot of the racism he received.

Being Judged For His Past

Charlamagne Tha God hates that people feel it is necessary to bring up things he did wrong in the past, even when it was 10 or more years ago. He said it’s fine to judge the old him. However, the new version of himself deserves to be judged differently. He is a Dallas Cowboys fan and gave his thoughts on the team during a recent interview. See This Page for more information.

#MeToo Movement Thoughts

During his interview, Charlamagne Tha God also spoke of his thoughts about the #MeToo Movement. He has two daughters himself and believes it is important for women to be able to stand up to men. He also talks about racism in his new book. He uses the term “Blackanoid” throughout. This term references the fact that black Americans feel like they are paranoid being the color they are. He feels that many have anxiety because of it. When he turned 39, he decided to go and attend therapy sessions to discuss his own anxiety issues. Between his therapy and faith, he has come a long way and feels he is finally starting to heal.
