Norka Luque’s life in the music industry has not been easy. The journey has been filled with several ups and downs. One of the major challenges that the Latin beauty has faced during her career is the life-threatening condition known as epilepsy. She learned about it after musical professionals diagnosed her with the condition in 2014.
Her condition worsened, and she had to undergo surgery in 2015. After a successful surgery, Ms. Martinez underwent a rather long and tough recovery process. She gained too much weight that greatly affected her career. She thought that this was the end of her career. However, with hope and determination, she was able to fight these challenges. Today Norka Luque is very active and has sworn to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Her most recent track is “Tomorrowland.” The track that was produced by FitoBlanko, a Panamanian-Canadian Tropical Urban songwriter has been received well in the Latino music community. It is doing well in major music charts across Latin American countries such as Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
Ms.Martinez says that she is impressed and inspired by different artists in the music industry. Some of these artists include Jay-z, Beyonce, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Bob Sinclair and a host of other artists.
She also says that she is very thankful for her parents for all their unwavering support over the years. According to her profile, her parents allowed her to attend instrument, dance and singing lessons at a very tender age. Additionally, she is thankful for the support of the Grammy Award winning producer, Emilio Estefan Jr. Even though Mr. Estefan is longer her manager, he played a major role in launching her music career.
Despite the fact that music is Norka Luque’s first enthusiasm in life, she also has other hobbies. Ms. Martinez is a very good tennis player. In fact, she occasionally takes part in different competitions around the Miami region. She loves traveling, socializing and eating.

Her first single “As You Do It.” This single got her a nomination in the 2011 Lo Nuestro Awards. She was nominated for the Best Female Latin Pop Artist of the Year.
