Ara Chackerian Using His Experience and Research to Start TMS Health Solutions

Interview.net recently interviewed Ara Chackerian about one of his new projects called TMS Health Solutions.

According to this interview, Ara Chackerian started this project came from dealing with out-patient diagnostic radiology centers. He had almost spent a decade on this project and they learned how to do outpatient psychiatric spaces during that time as well. Within this space, they were informed about a device called transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Ara Chackerian did research into this TMS treatment and found that it would be a good pillar of psychiatric care. It is particularly good at dealing with patients that have depressive disorder. He wonders why there is not more focus on using TMS as a way to treat depression.

In his spare time, Ara Chackerian writes articles for a website called Medium.

One article for Medium states that about 100 lives a day are claimed by suicide. The problem is that people is that people don’t talk about it and the obituaries on the Internet and in newspapers don’t talk it about it, either. The point of the article is tht people should start talking about suicide and get rid of the taboo that surrounds the subject suicide.

Another article is that one of the months in America has been designated as Mental Health Awareness Month. This month was conceived by Mental Health America America Organization in 1949. This should give people a chance to remember the people that treat people with mental illness on a regular basis.

Another article talks about a group of agencies in the United States that work to preserve forest land. The Conservation Fund works with these agencies to conserve forest land and they have so far saved 8 million acres of land in the United States.

Who is Ara Chackerian? He is known as an investor, entrepreneur and a philanthropist of various pursuits. He got a B.S. In Marketing from Florida State. He partnered to start many companies and they went on to great success. He is known for his work in the healthcare world and in the environmental industry.

Chris Burch’s venture into Nihi Island

Christopher Burch or better known as Chris Burch is a veteran retailer, entrepreneur, Philanthropist and well-known hotelier. He has a career that spans for over four decades which began in the year 1976 as an undergraduate student at Ithaca College, see also http://www.burchcreativecapital.com/press/.  Together with his brother Bob, they founded Eagles Eye Apparel which grew to a multimillion dollar company worth 165 million dollars before they sold it. During his tenure, he ventured into fifty companies with success attributed to his one of a kind entrepreneurial skills. His ventures have seen him spearhead investments in big brands such as Voss Water, Faena Hotel just to mention but a few.

Among the many investments he has made over time, one of the biggest was Nihi Sumba Island resort. Since its inception in the year 2012, the resort has exponentially grown in an Indonesian Island called Sumba Island, step over to ideamensch.com. The resort initially was small hotel owned by Claude and Petra Graves as an accommodation for surfers. This was back in the year 1988. After years of struggles, the couple needed financial aid and that’s when Christopher Burch came to the rescue. He went on to purchase the then small hotel and invested a whopping 30 million dollars so as to revive the place, hop over to (Bjtonline.com). Together with his partner James McBride, they managed to renovate and reopen the resort in the year 2015.

The resort itself is located in a quiet and serene island with a cool private atmosphere. The natural essence of the island exhumes tranquility with breathtaking sceneries. Legend has it that the beach houses at Nihi were isolated when the first inhabitants discovered it ages ago. It is believed that the Marapu Spirit safeguarded the island and that its presence can still be felt through the vibrant ambiance and energy that is all around the island.
